Ok, this is not the house we toured last night (which was itself very cool -- stay tuned!), but it was designed by one of the founders of Modern Richmond, which sponsored the tour. Still on a design high after the tour last night, I wandered over to the Watershed Architects website to see what was new there, and I stumbled upon this lovely sight.
Put this one on my list of houses I'm dying to get inside! As I'm sure it's clear by now, I just can't get enough of this look -- the intersection of traditional farm structures and a modern design vocabulary. This one's particularly interesting to me, though, in that the homes designed by Watershed are all environmentally friendly, and I'd love to see and learn more about the different ways they put these green principles in action on this project.
